POLICE ACTION:-

Road safety & Speeding - Cardiff Road, Showcase Cinemas and Nantgarw College

Speed Operation conducted on 13/6/2025 between 14.40pm – 15.40pm.

Average Speed 21.73mph of vehicles.

10 x cars speeding between 26mph – 35mph and warning letters sent out.

Speed Operation conducted on 10/7/2025 between 08.15am – 09.15am.

Average speed 21.07mph

4 x cars speeding between 27mph – 33mph and warning letters sent out.

Go Safe have also taken positive action with Notification of intent to prosecute.

Further speed operations to be conducted.

Antisocial behaviour - Cardiff Road and between Ffynnon Taf Community Centre and Lady Bird Cleaning Shop

High visibility patrols have been conducted around Cardiff Road and Nantgarw and I’m gathering intelligence from residents and working closely with local businesses.

I will continue to target the area.

Off-road bikes - Ty Rhiw Estate
